Hauser - Jerre - CW

Captain Jerre Hauser, formerly of this city, died at the National Military Home, Kansas, on December 27th, 1893 of pneumonia and the grip, and was buried there December 28th. The deceased was a well known merchant here for several years, and had many friends in this vicinity. After leaving this place he was a United States claim attorney, at the National Military Home, Ohio, and later at the Kansas Home, where his death occurred. He was a Union soldier during the late war and leaves an honorable record of service. His children, Miss Hattie and George Hauser, of this city, and several brothers and sisters survive him.
